The Journey

It all started on a train trip to Paris from Geneva several years ago before Covid-19 hit us. With several hours to occupy myself, I took along my notebook and pen to write a storybook for children. My daughter sitting by me inspired me whilst we were chatting. Her nickname is Letty and the nurses called her a shrimp at birth as she arrived early and was so small. The story continued to evolve around the shrimp, information that I had read about and so the first draft of "Life Under Water, a fishy tale" was formed.


Here are some sketching I did around the blue crabs, that were nearly extinct but now are thriving due to sustainable fishing.
